Before playing Bogeymen, each player must fill out a questionairre that provides some back story for each character, allows them to describe some of their fears, and helps shape and share their relationships with the other boys. The answers provided are used by the GM to cater the adventure specifically for their players, making every game of Bogeymen unique.
